Craving breakfast burritos since last night I decided to check out Muchas on Sunday, a little before 10:30am and , one person was already dining in.

I got the chorizo breakfast burrito and the order was called into the cooks as I paid, for 5.49 I must say I was a little taken back by the price as I was used to the Safeway burritos but taste wise I can see why it's $5. The ingredients were packed i to the burrito until the end, every bite had either the egg, cheese, beans, or meat. Very filling and the size is just right! Don't forget the sauces, though my first time the guac sauce was my favorite!

While dining in, I counted 13 plus people ordering mainly breakfast burritos and can understand why. The fast service and vast menu provides many options as well as lots of seating. Not only food but even dessert with ice cream bars both Coke and Pepsi company beverages.

The space is simple but that's really all you need as the food speaks for itself. Nothing special in terms of decor but a great set up plastic silverware, extra sauces, napkins, and pickled veggies by the drink counter. I can see why people flock to Muchas and wasn't disappointed!

Here's a fun thing: if you're day feels mundane and you're bored out of your mind, come here. Eat the food, then go back to work/home. The rest of the day you can play "Is it a fart, or am I gonna shit my pants?!" It's a fun game, brought to you buy slightly warm refried beans, and barely reheated meat.

How is this place so incredibly popular that they have locations throughout the area? Are there really that many people who love bland food, canned products, and not-hot (temperature) food? I thought Portland was known to be a foodie town? So how has this place thrived?

I made 3 bad choices today, let me tell you about them:

1.) I ordered the shredded beef crispy taco. Now, imagine taking a pot roast, throwing in the crockpot and cooking it. That's all you did to it. You didn't add any seasoning, beef stock, vegetables, or anything. You just simply put the beef in, and cooked it. Voila! You've got their shredded beef. The plain, greasy taco shell had more flavor.

2.) I ordered the chicken enchiladas. Lo and behold, the chicken had some flavor. But the enchiladas sauce was straight from a can. They didn't even try to hide it by adding anything to it. Just microwaved, canned enchilada sauce.

3.) I ate the beans that came with it. Yuck! It wasn't even warm, and again canned. How has the State of Oregon not closed down these locations yet?!?

The entire meal was barely warm... the shredded cheese wouldn't melt. Cheese, finely shredded out of a bag, wouldn't melt. So either I'm right, and the food isn't up to temp, or the cheese they use is some sort of hybrid, strong against heat, kind of strain of cheese.

Now, I'm going to nitpick... if you're going to offer cilantro at a salsa bar, at least de-stem it, and chop it up. C'mon man!!!

Again, it is a fun game to see if you can get home in rush hour traffic before you explode all over your leather seats, but it's not a game you want to play again. Trust You have been warned!

Decided to give this location a try instead of the other one in Hillsboro. I was sadly disappointed.

I order the carne asada fries well done, what I got was raw/uncooked French fries covered in unmelted cheese and a mix of toppings. At least they gave me the correct number of sauces I requested this time. Oh well. Time to look for another place to eat.

Confirmed twice while ordering that I wanted a veggie burrito. Got home, opened the bag, and found this. Waste of money and won't be coming back.
